BBQ Canceled

The BBQ following this year’s first practice has been cancelled.

Fireworks Tickets Top Sellers

Congratulations to Derek McIntyre, Austin Jack, and Ryan Gordon who all won $125 for selling over 30 fireworks tickets each! Thier work goes a long way in helping us fund our program this season. All three boys are terrific examples of Wildcat spirit and dedication. Thanks again boys, and GO CATS!

Attention Parents and Players!

Varsity weight room opens Monday February 1st. Workouts will be M/T/TH/F from 6:30-7:30 a.m.

JV weight room will open March 1st. Workouts will be T/Th from 3:00-4:00 p.m.

Paperwork will need to be filled out for The Winning Advantage to enter the weight rooms.

No Practice July 19 - August 6th

The three weeks prior to the regular season practice are "dead weeks" where no practice is held. This is an excellent time to get in that family vacation! Monday August 9th is our first day of regular season practice. On that evening we will be having a BBQ where parents can meet the coaches.

 

Manditory Parent Meeting August 11

On August 11 coach Johnson is holding a manditory parent meeting to prepare every family for the fall season.  At that meeting everyone will receive information about the fall schedule, practices, and more.
We will be handing out dinner/dance tickets to all players and families.  Each player is required to sell at least two tickets this year.
Lastly, we plan on going over the volunteer schedule for all families during the meeting.  If you have not yet indicated your vounteer preference, your team parent will be contacting you.

Annual Dinner/Dance Friday August 27

Hello everyone!

This year's dinner/dance fundraiser is shaping up to be the biggest party yet!  The Elk Grove Lions Club is helping to crank up the fun this year by BBQing and running the bar (thank you Lions)! We are also moving the event to a larger venue--the SES Hall!
 
Expect a huge, fun filled party with no-host bar, raffle tickets, games, music, dancing, and hands-down the best BBQ in town!
 
Money raised by this annual event helps our football program stay in business.  It funds coaching, equipment, and so much more!
 
Tickets are $30 and will be made available at the Aug. 11 parent meeting.  Meanwhile, we are also taking pre-orders for tickets to reserve space ahead of time if you plan on having a large group.  Some families manage to sell enough tickets to fill up half or an entire table with their friends (these are "the party tables!").
 
Come out and support Franklin Football--and have fun all at the same time!

Physical Clearance Forms due August 9

IIMPORTANT! All players must bring their physical clearance forms to the first day of practice on August 9th to hand in to Mr. Cody, the school Athletic Director.
An Elk Grove Unified School District Sports Physical Examination Form can be downloaded from the Franklin Football Boosters web site here.
