The Varsity football team had a very successful outing at the University of Nevada-Reno football camp last month.  I felt that we really came together as a team by the end of the camp.  The camp schedule isn’t for the faint of heart.  Our boys were up at 6:00 a.m. every morning and in bed by 10:00 p.m.  We participated in three 3 hour practices everyday.  I would guess that the boys enjoyed the night practices the best.  During this session we were able to compete in live 11 on 11 scrimmages.  Many of the opponents that we played came from the State of Nevada.  We did have the opportunity to play Fairfield High School and Del Campo High School during the week.  Both of these programs have had great success in the past so those games were a great measuring stick for our program.  We also had some great individual performances during the week that earned some of our Wildcats special recognition awards at the end of camp.  Below is a list of these athletes.
